This is my dog, Sandi. She is 11 years old now, and we've had her since she was about 10 months old. Sandi is such a good girl! And she is really, really smart. We got her from the Humane Society on the same day that she was brought there by some people who had found her running loose in the country. They had kept her for about a month, hoping to find her original people, then brought her to the Humane Society in the town that I live in.

Sandi has had to adjust to her "little" brother Oreo when we brought him home to live with us when she was three. Then when she was 7 1/2 we brought home her new little sister--our cat, Angel. And now she is having to share her home with yet another little sibling, our new "foster" kitten Shadow!

Sandi and Oreo are best buddies now, and she also gets along fairly well with Angel. She tolerates Shadow so far, and is being really good about having him here.

I will post a few pictures of Oreo, too, when Image Station lets me edit them. I uploaded them, but haven't been able to edit them (resize, etc.) yet.

I can't see the picture, but that is a very good story of how you got her! Good job for rescuing her, they just steal your heart and don't give it back do they?

Oreo is our "Chocolate Beagle". His mom was a Chocolate Lab, and his dad was a Beagle. We got him when he was 6 weeks old. His "hooman" mommie is one of my co-workers.

He doesn't have much white on him---just a little on his chest and on his belly, but if anyone asks us where the white frosting is (you know, like in Oreo cookies) we just tell them that he licked it all off already!

Thanks for the little hint. I was having trouble getting from Image Station to here and back to Image Station and back here again. So I just decided to do it this way. I'll keep working on it, though. I think I've got enough subjects here for LOTS of "practice" now!

You can just open up another Internet Window, or copy and paste the picture codes onto word, then come here and post them. Thats what I always do!
