Yesterday was Kiara's birthday party. I'm letting Kay put up those parts of the pics since she hasn't gotten to do that yet. Kiara had a blast and really does love balls. I don't think she'd ever tire of fetching them out of the pool or anywhere else for that matter. I wish I had some of her energy. Duke and I are pooped today. Here's Nebo and Duke when we first got there. Nebo is such a cool dog. I'm too lazy to fix the eyes.

This is as much in the pool as Nebo would get.

All in all, it was a great time. Duke got snippy with Kiara and Nebo. He jumped on them both at the beach. Made me so sad. I went off by myself with him and sat on a bench and cried. I wish I knew what I could do for him. He's never been like this before. I guess it's just old age and pain. Then I get mad at myself for not being more understanding that he is older and in pain. Just makes me sad to see the dog I know disappearing at times. I cry because I know his time here is getting shorter and it just kills me to think of him not being with me one day

You got some amazing pictures of Duke.

I know how you feel. Cagney is the same way, recently he has had no tolerence for other dogs. Some days you can tell he is in pain, his skin problems make life a little harder.

Great Pictures. It looks like a lot of excitement for one day. I would probably have gotten a little crabby too. But on a whole it looks like all of the dogs enjoyed the day, and now they can rest up for next year.
