    **A few more /pics\ of the baby**

    While she sleeps all curled up behind me, I thought I would put a few more pics and finish the story! This girl is just awesome! Every time she touches the grass - pee!! I feel like she is already in tune with our routine! The other girls are taking to her like cake! Sahara is THRILLED to have a baby to play with...and so is the baby! Chloe is a little more leary, but I can tell she is really warming up to her already! Venus...well, she is standing back, but seems to really like her...came up and gave the girl a kiss last night!

    My girl has two distinguishing marks I thought I would share. I only have a pic of one right now...that would be the cow-lick she has down the back of her neck!! If you've ever seen Beethoven and know the pup named "Moe" - Just think of her Not quite as much because she has less fur, but still very noticable...and cute! It's kind of faint in this photo, but you get the idea....


    She also has a "broken tail" Well, from what the vet has discovered, it happened either in utero or it is a congenital defect It doesn't hurt her at all and wags just fine. Just a knot near the base of her tail...gives her character, I think

    Her eyes will only stay blue for a few more days - week (ish)...she is already starting to loose some of it and greenish flecks are darkening around the corner. Just like human babies, pups are also born with blue eyes. The Blue Danes just tend to last a little longer. I will be sad to see them go...I think they are just GORGEOUS! So I'm taking a million photos to preserve the memory....well, on to the pictures ... in the next post

    Awwww.......shes so adorable Judy! I'm so happy for you again! I wish she didn't lose the colour either, her eyes are beautiful! Glad to hear the girls are doing good with her, how about some group shots? Sahara must know she has to make a good bond now, or else she might outgrow her, and then take over! Did you come up with a name yet for her? What about Moe?

    Those shots are priceless!

    What awesome pictures of an awesome pup!!! I love her blue eyes too! But look at those fantastic huge paws!!! It will be fun watching her grow into them!!

    She is just downright GORGEOUS! I love her!! and the pretty blue eyes, i did the same thing with Rita, i went crazy taking pics while she had blue eyes too

    Aww, shes gorgeous.

    My aunt breeds Great Danes, and she currently has 3 (adults)..she has a blue named Ice, a black named August, and a fawn named Triton. When Triton was little his mom stepped on his tail, and its kinda crooked at the end.. I know I have pics of them somewhere, I will have to show you them

    I bet she feels like warm wiggly velvet right now. She is completely adorable! And while we know here eyes will change color some, she's already got that sweet puppy look down pat. It's so good that she's getting along with the other dogs so far as well!

    Unfortunately, she will loose the blue...they will end up being a shade of greenish-brown. There are already greenish flecks in them, so the change has begun.

    Her coat is SOOO SOFT! We had our first bath today to get all the puppy slobber from her brothers and sisters off and it has made a huge difference! Silky smooth little girl

    ggrr! No, I haven't!!! This is getting crazy, but I just feel like nothing is fitting her! I want something soft and "lady-like" and also something "different"...lol...not just a common name. Also, her registered name must start with an "E", so that isn't helping things either. Of course, her call name doesn't have to have anything to do with her registered name, but I figured it would make more sense that way?!?! I'm just stumped! lol
