Buddy looks just like my Snowy, used to.

I remember when Snowy was lean and svelte.

Now he's a hefty 15 lbs of man-cat.

hi rose, thank you for the compliment on my buddy he is 9 months old now . I think he is a blue point or a lilac point siamese, though i really dont know for sure since he came from the local pound at about 7 weeks old. can you tell what my boy is for me? I also cant believe how much he looks like your snowy, who by the way is a very handsome fellow do you have any pictures of snowy to share? he is beautiful. here are some other pictures of buddy to see his coloration oh ..he also weighs in a 8.5 lbs

They say the way to tell a blue point from a lilac point is the color of their paw pads.
A blue point will have gray pads and a lilac will have pink pads.

Snowy is a Siamese mix, as well Buddy may be.
So these boys may be just a little off the color standards for Siamese cats.


Advertised as a male Lilac Point at the shelter, Snowy's pads were pink,

as you can see in this picture of him, at 4 months.

Then they turned gray. His coat became more and more shaded, and I consider him a blue point now. You can se I have another blue point male, Malfi, to the right of my signature.

Does Buddy like to talk?

That is the craziest thing about Snowy. His constant conversations. He 'announces' EVERY move he is about to make. Also he has to make a 'dismount' sound whenever he jumps off of something. He's got a huge vocabulary.
