new nose?

hello all,

i have an 8 year old yellow lab/retriever, over the past few weeks her nose has changed colors from the usual almost black, to a pretty pink, whats up?
her behavior is the same, nothing untoward. Her gum color has not changed either...canyahelp?

That's what a lot of people call "snow nose" - a lot of dog's noses turn color in the winter. Most turn from a blackish to a grayish-pink color.

Happens every winter to my Golden Retrievers. Then they go back to that beautiful black in the summer. Kay is right, sounds like "snow nose" to me!

thank you all so very much, I was getting ready to make a trip to the vet! I explained to "Miss April May" what was going on c/ her nose and she seems happy to know all is well. Thank you again, ya'll have a great evening!
