    Nipo did what?!?



    Nipo sat in my Dad's lap...and LIKED IT! This is highly unusual behavior for the Nippopotamus. My Dad (a.k.a. her favorite person in the whole world!) has been picking her up and putting her in his lap for pets, but until today she would only stay there for maybe 30 seconds at a time. However, today she practically fell asleep and had no intention of going anywhere! I think they were both asleep for a few minutes there.
    I have proof...



    Getting more relaxed...


    Looking 'oh so cute'...


    Irritated by the flashy thing...( I was calling her to turn back towards me but all she did was swivel her ears. )


    Eventually she curled up into a little ball and fell asleep...


    I'm still in shock.

    Hate to be the bearer of bad news..BUT, maybe Nipo was COLD? He he he...your dad is in pants and long sleeved shirts. I thought you guys lived in HAWAII?

    Just kidding about the bad news. I hope Nipo now realizes laps are the place to be!

    Awwwwwwwwe!!! There is nothing like the feeling when the cat finally gives in and becomes a lap buddy!!!
    Nippo is GORGEOUS and so cute and snuggly all curled up sleeping in dad's lap. I love the "swivel" ear picture!!

    She certainly looks comfy on his lap and I suspect she is on her way to becoming a *lap fungus*!!

    What a treat for your dad!! I am also picking up Lizzie for short periods of time but she can't wait for me to let go of her!! At least she doesn't claw and bite anymore!!
