    I got another betta! ;)

    Yep, I did it again. I don't know what it is about these little fellas but they can be addictive! I came across a rounded empty vase in my home and thought...hhmmm, that would be perfect for another betta!....lol. I have finally named the first one Homer. I don't have a name for the new boy yet. I could have swore he was more blueish looking in the store but he looks more green now that he is home.

    Here he is!






    Here is Homer! I really like this guy. I think he has even grown since I got him.





    Does anyone have a name to go with Homer?

    Congrats! I really want one too, I think I may be getting a betta sooner than I expected! I hope I'm able to find one as beautiful as your two bettas!

    They are both gorgeous, Robyn! I'm enjoying ours so much, too! This morning, I walked upstairs to wake up Helen for church, and Otto was just swimming back and forth at the front of his little tank, and I think he was ready to eat! LOL!!!! Helen told me to go ahead and feed him and he was swishing around, grabbing that food. He has a lot of personality!

    I'll make a couple of suggestions as far as a name, but I'm sure you'll think of something special. What about Wilbur? Or Tony? Or Vern? Or Pete? Of course, Roger is a very popular name in this house!!!

    So pretty!! I love how the rock colors contrast the color of the bettas. (New fish has rocks color of Homer, Homer has color of new fish!)

    You aren't the only one who has "suffered" from betta addiction and the potato chip syndrome . When I was living in my dorm, and couldn't have anything but fish with me, I went out and got a betta... then another... then another. I soon had 6 little bowls gorgeous bettas in them, they have such personality too, I really got attached to them. With so many getting bettas and showing these pics, I'm really getting the urge to get another one. I just need to make sure one doesn't turn into 5 or 6 again, that turns into a lot of work keeping all those bowls cleaned once a week or so . I still have all my supplies though, I may just have to give in and get one . Both of them are BEAUTIFUL Robin!

    Winslow is a perfect name! I was thinking the same, Micki!! Winslow or Simpson! What beautiful bettas you've got their Robin. Oh geeez, I'm getting the urge again myself!
