    Cali!! You have us smiling like crazy this morning after looking at your picture. We agree with Mom, you are sooooo cute. We love the way you're looking up at us, pozing for the camera. We think you look pretty close to being 100% German Shorthair. What a gorgeous beauty you are Cali girl and you really look and sound like the life of the party at your place!! Not only is the family lucky to have you in their lives, how about Max??? Not only are you his bestest buddy and playmate, you are his faithful groomer every day. WOW!!!! What a girl!! You just sound like the all around good doggie of the year sweetie!! You deserve a big celebration today with all the family!! Congrats on being our very special DOTD Cali!!     Cali, your mama said, "Every time we look at her, we just smile because she is so cute." That is exactly my reaction as I opened up today's DOTD page and saw you looking up at me with that sweet and curious expression. As my friend, Sandra (tatsxxx11) said, your beautiful golden eyes are so very expressive and soulful, I could just gaze into them all day! What an affectionate and loveable girl you are, and after a day out working with Daddy, you're ready to curl up and snuggle with one of your special people. What a wonderful sis you are to your brother Max as well with such tender motherly care. I hope you have an especially fantastic day today with LOTS of special treats, romping with Max, and of course plenty of cuddling with mom and dad.     I must agree that Cali is almost 100% GSP...what a gorgeous girl. Congratulations!!!

    Her eyes are so much like a fomer DOTD, Sissy May. WHAT BIG PUPILS! I love it!! Sissy's become bigger automatically when she has a rub down, no matter the light. Cali reminds me a lot of Sissy. Our girl cleans Buzzard's ears and teeth as needed...funny kids.
