    Dog Show Pictures *13*

    Well I got up at 8:30 this morning and we got ready to go to the dog show, we were there for about 4 hours.

    It was fun, but I started to feel bad for alot of the dogs after a couple hours went by and they started to get tired, some people were also very rough with them.

    Well I took my camera and decided to share the pictures, some of them are blurry because my "zoom" is really messed up...

    Not sure why the guy was putting powder on his paws?

    OMG...I can't thank you enough for taking those pics of the akita! Thank you so much! What a beauty.

    All the doggies are gorgeous and I would have been in heaven to see so many beautiful pups.

    I think it was to make the paws look whiter, that's what I did when I showed my horse in halter and showmanship. But you know showing horses and dogs are different so I could be wrong.

    Yes, the powder is put on white areas so they look whiter, but not bright white (otherwise, that'd be considered flashiness in a breed that shouldn't). They chalk Greyhounds, too.

    I'm so glad you took pics of the Pekes! I can't say I'm a fan of that color, but they're adorable nonetheless. Did you happen to see a Mini white poodle there?

    Great pics. I love looking at the dogs in dogs shows. The big one in Aus is coming up at the Royal Easter Show, so Ill be gooing on the day that the schnauzers are being judged.
