State Fair Pics(horses and dogs)

I went to the state fair yesterday and was there for quite a while. I got to see both people from my barn compete. One woman won first place. She got points, a plack and a ribbon. Here's a cute Boxer that there in the bleachers with the owner.

Here's my friend from the barn during her skid stop. I just loved watching them do that!

My friend's horse. He's 4th in the nation.

This dog was so sweet. She was at a trailer where they were selling tack items.

Beautiful flowers near one of the main fair entry ways.

Pansies are my favorite flower.

This is an Ossabow Island donkey named Half Pint. Isn't she adorable? She was 6 months old. Don't know if she was a miniature or not but she wasn't big right now.

Budweiser Dalmation. Isn't he cute? I would love to have the job of leading these horses and sitting next to the dog. What fun!

There was even a horse named Duke. I asked the representative about the sign but they are used more than once. I would have loved to have had it but I can alway just get it printed out.

I really like the pictures of the dogs, I love the dalmation though, its very pretty.

The view from the sky ride reminded me of the Calgary Stampede Grounds ..it would look identical if you added some snow, and took away all of the beauitful green trees

You would think this sign would be self explanatory but people either couldn't read or refused to do so.

Here's the dog that was sleeping earlier. She loved to play fetch. Would bring that ball back and drop it at your feet. I wanted to take her home for sure.

This is a keychain but it's much more durable than the pet tags so I bought it for Duke.

Great pics! I loved the dog ones especially. That aussie is really gorgeous! I wonder if she's deaf, usually aussies that are mostly white with blue eyes are. That keychain/tag you got for Duke is really neat!

Lute: The Clydesdales are so beautiful! I would love to be able to take care of them.
Amy: I don't think she was deaf. She seemed to respond to my voice alright. She was so sweet.
I had a great time hanging around all the riders. Makes me want to start riding again but I've let myself get so out of shape. I need to get motivated somehow.
