Very proud mommy!
for my boyfriend. He's a professional downhill cyclist and had injured his shoulder really bad. Well yesterday was a very bad day for him. Not only did he get fired from the team and won't be riding with them this year due to his injury (he lost his sponsership) but he also found out one of his best friends passed away. He was very notibly upset yesterday and just looked emotionally drained. If you all could send a few prayers his way I would really appreciate it.

My husband used to do downhill racing too and was fired because of a very severe knee injury. I feel for your boyfriend and hope he gets better both physically and emotionally. *Hugs* for you both!!

Thank you all so much. I just feel really bad for him. He's had so many injuries that I'm kind of glad he won't be riding with them this summer! Of course, he will still ride some, just not with that team. Thanks for the prayers. I will pass this along to him...
