My moms African Grey always asks mom if she can watch TV lol. They are quite smart and really amazing!!

I have never heard or seen anything like this!! I had to watch it over and over and even hubby came back here when he heard it! I had no idea some birds could be so smart and trained!!!

As a kid, we had a parakeet who could say his name (Petey) and "pretty bird" and we thought HE was brilliant

I watch Pet Star every week and saw the show Einstein was on. It was amazing. I had it recorded and showed it to my husband when he got home from work He actually isn't someone's household pet though but is part of an educational program to teach kids about animals, if I remember correctly.

Debbie, you've never been to a bird show before? You NEED to go!!! I've seen such birds in real life, and they are AMAZING. Birds are amazing animals...so intelligent, understanding,...and so much like little kids. My uncle took me to a bird show in England several years ago, and they had many different birds performing. One of them had a whole conversation with the trainer, in English. Too cute! It was a macaw. Another macaw rode a bicycle on a rope tied about 15 feet above the ground. They were amazing. I would love to have such a bird one day. They're incredible. I cannot stop watching this video.
