Write your name in the snow??? Nope, rescue yourself!!!

Man peed way out of avalanche

A Slovak man trapped in his car under an avalanche freed himself by drinking 60 bottles of beer and urinating on the snow to melt it.

Rescue teams found Richard Kral drunk and staggering along a mountain path four days after his Audi car was buried in the Slovak Tatra mountains.

He told them that after the avalanche, he had opened his car window and tried to dig his way out.

But as he dug with his hands, he realised the snow would fill his car before he managed to break through.

He had 60 half-litre bottles of beer in his car as he was going on holiday, and after cracking one open to think about the problem he realised he could urinate on the snow to melt it, local media reported.

He said: "I was scooping the snow from above me and packing it down below the window, and then I peed on it to melt it. It was hard and now my kidneys and liver hurt. But I'm glad the beer I took on holiday turned out to be useful and I managed to get out of there."

Parts of Europe have this week been hit by the heaviest snowfalls since 1941, with some places registering more than ten feet of snow in 24 hours.

MY liver and kidneys hurt but my hands stayed nice and warm!!!!

    Or

Think of the firemen who gave this guy a hand to get out....

What a solution! I would think that would be pretty dehydrating for him. I suppose better than being buried alive though!

He could have eaten some *white* snow to help from getting dehydrated.. and prevent one nasty hangover.

    Don't eat Yellow Snow
    By Frank Zappa

    Dreamed I was an Eskimo
    Frozen wind began to blow
Under my boots and around my toes
The frost that bit the ground below
It was a hundred degrees below zero...

    And my mama cried
    And my mama cried
    Nanook, a-no-no
    Nanook, a-no-no
    Don't be a naughty Eskimo
Save your money, don't go to the show

Well I turned around and I said "Oh, oh" Oh
Well I turned around and I said "Oh, oh" Oh
Well I turned around and I said "Ho, Ho"
And the northern lights commenced to glow
And she said, with a tear in her eye
"Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow"
"Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow"

    ---------------------------

Nanook's mom didn't raise no dummy!!!

    What??? No pee-biscuits???
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Just thought if something...

    Beer snow cones.

He could keep the beer cold and stay hydrated.

Of course, you have to be careful.....should you get TOO drunk and forget where you put your LAST snow cone down.

    -------------------------------------------

7.5 gallons of beer to drink....

And they say that drinking beer can kill you.....Saved this guy's LIFE!!!

Actually if you are stuck in the snow, eating it is one of the worst things you can do. It's so cold that it doesn't actually help.

    Interesting solution
