I wuz sittin on da bed, mindin' my ownz beezwax


When Momma camez inz and sez itz time for bedz. So, she toldz me 2 say my prayerz and I didz. And diz iz how my prayerz went...

I wuz jist gettin' started "Now I layz me down wif Sheepz-" when mom interruptedz me, "SOPHIEEEEEE....say them right!" OH fine.


Now I layz me down in sheetz,
(I hopez mom don't 'spect me to sleepz).
Angelz, puh-leaze holdz da fridge door tightz,
So da parsley don't rotz ober nightz.
Aaaa-hen.

Den I hopped downz and triedz to play but Mom sez "No." She putz me back onna bedz and sedz 'go to sleepz.' So I layedz down but stuck my tongue out when mom wuzn't lookin'...


Den my mommiez cuddledz me and gave me noze skritchz. Dez felt reel gud and I aktually fell asleep.

And datz da storie. Mom sez sometimez stories have morray-eels but I don't tink derz any in dis one. Mebbey next timez I kin find one for youz.
