    Oh Tom, what a special little turtle you are, and so loved and cherished by your human friend. I was around turtles a lot growing up, and I know many people would be surprised at how much personality and character they have! You have been a wonderful friend and source of laughter and love through the years, and I'm sure you will continue to be, as fortunately turtles can live quite long lives! I hope you have an extra special day today sweet Tom. Congratulations on being our awesome Pet of the Day!

    I remember having your ancestors as part of my pet menagerie when I was a youngster many years ago . . . you have brought back fond memories and you are indeed a special friend and companion to your guardian.
