I apologize for posting so many at once - I had too many favorites from this weekend!

As some of you know, Kari(Kblaix), Justin, and pup Nova came over this weekend. We had lots of fun!

Saturday morning we went to the Mardi Paws Festival. We missed the parade (Ugh, the lady who organized it all specifically told us everything started at 9 - we have a recording on our answering machine!) but we did stay for everything else.
Kiara and I decided that we would perform, although she didn't do anything. She was SO scared. She did high five and went half way around my mom until she saw the guy on the other side and came running back to me. Oh well, it was a good experience anyways. Nova and Kiara got their caricatures done.

This dog kept wanting to play with her - his mommy wouldn't let him though because he has a bad knee.

We ended up moving over to the small dog side.. Nova says "This is more like it!"

We then went for a walk on the boardwalk/trail thing.. VERY pretty!

They have this wooden tower thing that overlooks the lake.. Here's Justin, Kari, and Nova on it.

Kiara decided it was a perfect place to take a quick nap.

On Sunday, we went to the dog beach.. Cute lil Nova

Kiara has SUCH a BLAST!! I broke of a stick on the walk to the beach and she'd go right into the water for it.

Looks like a great weekend! I'm sure everyone was exhausted after all of that excitement! Now...if I could only convince my girls that the water was as much fun as Kiara makes it out to be...

Wow Kay, you got some great pictures. We had a great time with you. We especially loved the beach, I could have stayed there all day.
