Silly Boomer and his new "toy"

I was working on prepping Tyler's room for painting today and Boomer was very helpful He was especially helpful when I started taping down the drop cloth and in true cat fashion, he thought that it was all fro him

"Hmm my toy is on the crinkly stuff... what to do?"

"Maybe I can just creep over there.."

    "Hey! this is kinda fun!"

"This is the neatest toy ever, Mom"

Please don't mind the mess, as I said before, we are getting ready to paint. It'll be a nice bright blue when we're done with it. We would have been painting today, but poor hubby has come down with food poisoning or stomach flu or something

Just wait till you get the PAINT out!!

    Way back when...
the Ranch Howze was nearing completion...

And a Young Casey (Shepherd) and a VERY Young Fred (da KittenKat) were
quite fond of "helping" with painting and staining!

I threatened more than once to Duct-Tape the Dawg's TAIL
to one of her back legs!
There are more than "a few" Shepherd-Tail HAIRS embeded in
the wall paint throughout the house!

    And da KittyKat!
She just *LOVED* to walk up to a WET Paint Brush
resting on the lip of a paint can...

    **SWAT**

    If she didn't "dunk" the brush (handle and all) into the can;
she'd *flip* it and manage to *paint* herself!

Boomer should look good in Blue!

Such a helpful little guy! I hope he doesn't offer to use his tail as a paintbrush!

Mango helped paint once. Up on the laddar... with his tail in the paint can. Fortunately it was water-based paint so it would wash out but he was so busy watching what was going on he didn't notice his tail.

Funny that they always want to help us with these things...

A speedy recovery to your hubby - hope you won't get it, too!

lol! we'll have to keep a very close eye on Boomer as we paint the room. Expecially because he has claimed the room as his own and rarely leave it

By the way, Paul is feeling a lot better this morning He has a headache but it's more than likely caused by being hungry and thirsty. Thanks for the well wishes
