    New Member Here

Hello everyone. I just found your site today, liked what I saw, so here I am.

Are there any fellow Chinese Crested lovers out there? I am a rep for Crest-Care, a national CC rescue organization. I currently am owned by two CC puffs, Pixie (my 1st little rescue girl) who is 3 yrs old and Bandit who is truly my heart and is 2.5. I also have a 15 mo. old hairless foster boy, Loco, whom I just approved an adoption for so he'll be leaving me before to long , and most recently a 1 yr old puff, Copper, who's been with me since the end of October. The four of them are singing to me right now. If you've never experienced singing Cresties, well you just don't know what you've missed. Rather than post a bunch of pics, here's a link to my home page. Feel free to look at any of the pics, but make sure you click into the file "Clobber" (that was Copper's name when he came to us, but it did not suit his personality at all, so I changed it to Copper), then the file "singing Cresties." You're in for a real treat...turn up the volume and you're doggies will come unning.

I look forward to getting to know you and your 4-legged pals.

I had the pleasure of rescueing a Crestie off the side of the road after it almost got squashed. He repaid me by hiking his leg to my car seat but fortunately he had a collar and tags and was reunited with his family that same day, who were also educated about the benefits of neutering.

I love the singing Cresties video, that is too cute.

Thank the stars above you were there for the little love. Yes...Cresties can be markers. I have a male foster that I absolutely cannot break of it. He wears a belly band 24/7. I'm sure it has everything to do with the fact that the first 10 months of his life he lived with 10 yr old intact Xolo. Even when he goes potty outside, he has the rounds that he makes.....a squirt here, a squirt there, never pees all in the same spot. He even has to go mark over the other 3 dogs pee spots and I can't tell you how many times I've had to give my poor Pixie (spayed) a quick bath because he's hiked his leg on her while she's mid-squat.

I think it's funny when males mark until they have nothing left, yet they still hike their legs to squeeze out that last little droplett.

    welcome to pet talk

My name's Devon. I have 3 dogs, a rabbit, 5 hermit crabs, a betta, lots of fancy goldfish, a pony, and a cockatiel. You can see all their names and breeds in my signature.

I don't have any cresties of my own, but they are very cute dogs.

When I played that crestie video my dogs went CRAZY!!

Awww, Gracie is SOOO cute. Aussies are such a wonderful breed...you can tell just by looking in their eyes that they are so intelligent. My bro had a aussie/blue heeler mix when we were kids...she was WAY too smart for her own good, but man she was fabulous cattle dog.

There's really not too many breeds I don't like, but Cresties will always be my first love. I am absolutely crazy about Ibizans and Pharoah hounds, Basenjis (way too much dog for me though) and I adore almost all of the herding dogs (especially Briards and Corgis). Not too whoopi on Shelties, but I think that's just because my neighbors have two that they let terrorize the neighborhood. They're not aggressive, just think they own the entire street (dead end) and are constantly getting into people's trash on pick up day, but that's their parents fault.
