Redneck Christmas in SC! Ha Ha!!

On Saturday, Helen and I went to a family Christmas celebration in Batesburg, SC. On our way home, we stopped for a stretch break at a Texaco station in Newberry, SC. Look what was parked in the parking lot of the Waffle House next door!!! I've seen a lot of funny things in my life, but this is truly the first time I have ever seen a "mobile" Santa Claus in a Ryder truck! LOL!!! I figure this could only happen in South Carolina!!! We just had to stop and take a picture to prove what we saw! Quality of the pictures stinks, but you can see enough!

When a waterbug leaves his friends and climbs the stalks, he is unable to return. But he gains a beautiful new body and a glorious perspective on a new world. He knows his friends will join him with their new bodies one day...one glorious day

I hope they use lots of bubble wrap when they transport Santa so that he'll stay safe.

    That is hilarious!

Believe it or not, but on December 6th, which is "Saint Nicolas Day" here, I saw about same thing; no no, even better! I heard St.Nicolas songs on our street, so I went outside to have a look. It was a small VW-truck, and inside was his holyness and 4 black Peters (helpers)! Wish I had taken a pic....

(Better not let the red necks here in the Louisiana see that!)
