Today, we were in the doctor parking lot and my son was being pokey on purpose. He was going out of his way to annoy us. He was taking like a step every couple seconds. So, my husband and I hid behind a car, thinking we'd scare him a bit. We were watching him, waiting to see what he would do.

He stops...Looks around...Realizes that we were gone...then gets a huge smile and starts walking quickly in the other direction.

We were baffled. I go "Where were you going!? You weren't scared!?"

He smiled big and said "NO! I got so excited. I thought that I was finally going to be on my own. I thought I was free."

I go "Well, where were you going? What were you going to do with your freedom?"

He goes "I was taking off to go build my own house so that I don't have to pay taxes."

Oh, forgot a part. After that, I said "I hate to break it to you son, but you have to pay taxes no matter what."

He goes "Man...that's not fair. This government is all jacked up."
