    Rollin In Poooo

Gracie just started this..The first time I thought it was a fluke..but this is the second time...she is rolling in POO!! Yesterday it happened, I brought her in and gave her a bath...she did it again just now..and another bath was in order. I usually keep the poo picked up in the back yard but occasionally in the early morn when its dark and she goes on the side of the house I dont see it..I was going to run a check over the yard because hubby is getting ready to mow..and she found it before I did...rolled all in it...aghhhhhhhh why in the world would she do that?? Anyone else ever deal with this? I know I will have to just make sure I get it picked up..but I just don't know she started it all of a sudden..

Dogs will often roll in smelly, disgusting things if given half a chance. The explanation I have heard is that it's instinctive behavior to cover their own scent so predators or prey cannot smell them!
