    The Newest Love in my life ... meet Missy!

    We had been underway with the adoption process of Missy for a week or so before losing my Tucker. Things finally were finalized yesterday, and sweet Missy got to come home with us and meet the rest of our family!

    Missy is a purebred Sheltie whose previous owner moved due to divorce, and left the dogs in the care of the farm caretaker. Well, all he did was set them free onto the farm, after they had always been indoors. Missy ran off from two different adoptive homes and found her way back to the farm each time. Thankfully she is now in our home, where she will never feel the need to roam again! We love her so already!

    Missy is beautiful Kim.Shelties are nice dogs.My girlfriend has one that looks just like your Missy.She's had many Sheltie's in her life.She loves them.

    Yes, she and the doggies just instantly started getting all excited and ready to play ... I was amazed!!! She has met a few of the kitties .... my, I didn't know Tabitha could PUFF UP so big!!! She is better today, now that she sees that Missy is so calm.

    Actually Missy already had her name .... the previous owners called her Mississippi , but her rescuer shortened it to Missy. I thought it fit her and was pretty ... so we kept it!
