    Merlin needs prayers

Well as it alwaysgoes when you leave the kids get hurt. I found Merlin sunday morning with a swollen peinal sheath . Looks like a spider bite. I started him on an asprin and some ammoxxicellin. He didn't eat or drink yesterday but has today still waiting for an out come. he did nothing but sleep all day yesterday . wouldn't go out side at all. He did pee on Sunday so hoping for a trip out soon. Using hot and cold alternating packs . Please prayer for my boy.

    OMG poor Merlin

Prayers on the way now. Hope he feels better soon.

If he won't eat or drink you can try him on boiled ground beef and rice mixture, even a small amount several times just so he has something on his belly and won't dehydrate. Good luck and keep us posted.

Well, hes feeling a little better, He ate his whole meal after he got a choc drop from a package from Lorrineo . Still having to give him penicellin I think the fever part is down . now if I can just keep him from licking it and making it more irritaed. I know it must itch ( I had 2 bites this summer too)
Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts.

I'm glad he's feeling a little better. I hope he continues to do so. I know how scary it is, believe me! Our pets are very special to us and they can bring us great joy. Very scary when that joy is threatened. Give him a hug from me.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Good morning! well the boy is feeling better he actually barked at the big dogs this morning as they went out side( a normal thing) He even jumped up on to my bed (he hadn't moved from the couch in 2 days) He even PEED this am . I'm going to be gone most of the day so he'll have a quiet day to still rest. There is still some swelling and reddness at the tip but not nearly what there had been.
Thank you for all the PT prayers it really does work.
