    Dennis's Dad in Texas has finally slipped away

    I posted this in General but since most of my friends are here - thought I would put it here, too.


    Thank you to everyone for the prayers and support that we asked for as Dennis flew to Texas to be with his dying father last Monday, 10/25. The death was LONG, but his dad finally slipped peacefully away just this morning 10/31 and the family is very relieved and everyone is getting along well. Hopefully, I will have my hubby home with me again in just a few days!!

    I've been thinking of you all so much and wondering how things were going. Even though you want the suffering to be over when you are watching a loved one go through that kind of pain, nothing really prepares you for the loss when it comes.
