My Lab Lost Her Litter :( Are There Any Puppies Out There That Need A Surrage Mom?

We are heart sick for our black lab Jessica. She is an incredible labrador and is losing her puppies - one at time. They have died in utero and no on can explain why. We did an ultrasound on wednesday of this past week and the last pup was alive - we hoped she would deliver over this weekend, instead the spotting started and we rushed her to the vet to find out there was now no heart beat - we are praying and hopeful that the pup is ok. She is full with milk and we were thinking of helping other puppies that have lost their mom - we live in fairfield county ct - if anyone knows of puppies that need a home for a few weeks and mom's milk - let me know at [email protected]

I'm so sorry I do hope the vet can determine what happened I belong to a Lab rescue group and will let them know of your offer to allow your dear Jessica to act as surrogate mom. We cover the northeast, including your area of CT and do a lot of networking with other rescue groups in CT as well. My sincere sympathies to your family and mommy Jessica.

Thank you - it's a horrible loss for her to carry these babies (she has had other litters and all went well...she had 12 all healthy, not one lost) she is clearly depressed and we are giving her all the love and attention..thank you for your sympathies - we are so sick over this.

{{{HUGS}}} Poor Jessica. What a wonderful Mommy and how she must be hurting. But she has a wonderful human family and I know your love and comfort will help to heal her heart. I will be touch when I hear back from my group. Love, Sandra, Star the Lab and Cody the Husky x.

Thank you all so much..we need the prayers - we are so sad over these losses - i am waiting for her to actually pass the additional puppy, i keep hoping the vet is wrong and there is a live pup - no signs of nesting though and she always nests before she delivers - she just wants to go outside because she thinks she has to have a BM - this is every half hour - so at night, my husband works mids - it's me and only me, jessica, her son Prince and the kdis - not easy - i just want th is to end soon

I am so sorry for Jessica's loss of her pups. It would be wonderful if she could help by being a surrogate. Hugs.

I'm VERY sorry for you and your sweet Labby baby.

Hmm.. Maybe you could contact the local shelter and see if they have any pups that need a mom!
