    Thing That Goes Bump In The Night...

    Since it's almost Halloween.

    I was asleep when I heard scritch, scritch, scritch....scrape scrape
    pah thump......crash....from the next room...

    My heart began to beat faster...I opened my eyes and didn't see a thing...I felt the temperature in the room drop a few degrees-

    Then the ungodly noise started over again...I thought about
    the people who had lived in my house....people who were no longer on the planet. Could they have come back to pay an earthly visit??

    CRASH.....

    The noise grew louder..It sounded like a hound from hell-pacing itself around the room..scritch scritch.......scrape.....

    I could feel that presence with me, around my bed, under my bed.......on the other side of the room......IT WAS IN THE ROOM WITH ME...

    I held my breath.....The sounds grew closer and closer to the edge of my mattress......


    WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN...

    A catnip crazed cat jumped up into bed with me......

    I screamed and screamed.....The ghostly white cat jumped off the bed to go back to his cardboard catnip scratcher box......

    I covered my head with the blankets and tossed and turned until the sun came up.......The noises went on until the early morning hours....

    Somewhere in the world is the inventor of the cardboard catnip scratcher is laughing maniacally....He'll wear us down by letting the cats keep us awake all night-then he'll hatch his plans for world domination....

    That was great.Our cats keep us up all night with the 2 turbo toys we have downstairs in the living room.There's a ball in the middle they wack around and around all night.And a cardboard with catnip in the middle they scratch.Big and small cats love that toy.I'm getting 2 more.Me and Mike are up now because of it.LOL It's 2:04 AM.Just got up to join the party. Why not.
