Do you leave the TV on while you are away for your furkid?

I voted "no", but I don't think it is silly at all. I have been known to turn on the radio to settle them down a bit when it thunders.

If I run to the store, and leave them out of their crates I do. I tell myself that maybe they'll think someone is still home if the TV is on, and maybe they won't chew up the couches, or books, or towels, etc...!!!

I voted 'sometimes' but actually they have the radio on when I'm out. Toby likes to howl along with the music! This doesn't happen very often though, most of the time when I'm out they're out with me

I voted yes, but I don't usually for the dogs and cats. I always leave the tv or radio on in the other room for the birds.

Because Bailey is afraid of just about everything, if there are loud noises going on outside (tree trimmers, lawn workers, etc) I leave the TV or the radio on. Other than that, no.

    Re: Tv

If I am going out for a short time, I will sometimes
leave the TV on for them.
    Otherwise I turn everything off.

    Yeah we do.
No matter how long we are going to be gone we leave the TV on for them.

Molly stays downstairs in the living room, so we have the TV on in there.
I don't have a TV in my room, so I leave the radio on in there instead, since my 3 kids stay in my room while I'm gone.

No i dont , only because, if Face sees a dog on TV he will jump up and push it over, he has to be supervised while watching Animal Planet.

I voted no, but I don't think it is silly. My dogs are pretty mellow, and the seem to do fine withoutout. I did tunr on the radio for both the girls when they were puppies.

I do now, sense Mooch has lost her site. I just think it might make her feel safer if there some sort of sounds of people.

Honestly I think it just makes me feel better more then her. It's so hard to leave her now that she has gone blind, I just want her to feel as if she not alone.

    I voted sometimes...
Sometimes I'm watching TV and then leave the room, and Megan stays on the couch "watching" the TV..

Other times, I leave the radio on for her while I'm gone at work or school or something...
