Are there any Basset lovers out there. I don't see much about them. Here are mine.

Your dogs are so sweet! I think prechrswife has a couple of bassets. There was a Pet Talker quite a while ago who got us all to love bassets through the tales and pictures of her Daisy.

My grandparents had 3 Basset Hounds- Casey, Poncho, and Gretchen. They have all passed away though.

They were wondeful dogs! Cute pups!!

Your Bassets are beautiful. I am not owned by a Bassett hound but get to spend quite a bit of time with a lovely Basset named Emma .

My husband and I have 2 bassets. Max is a red and white (3 1/2 years old), and Oscar is a tri-color (1 year old). Here are our boys:

I think you are right about basset owners sticking to basset sites. I post at Cyberhound occasionally, but I tend to stick more to PetTalk because it has both cat and dog sections. I'm glad to see more bassets here at PetTalk!

I'm not a basset mommy, however I am a basset neighbor!!
There is one down the street from me, and she is just the cutest!!!

Those ears look soooooo soft and silky!!!!

I do have a hound dog--Abbey--she looks like a beagle in her coloring and has the ears and the eyes, but she's a bit too big to be a beagle.

im not a Basset mom either,but i used to have a Beagle!and boy was she a joy to have around,lol I love Bassets and yours are gorgeous!

Floppy is beautiful. I love the mostly black bassets. The two tri-colors that we have had Gus (RB) and Oscar both were mostly black as puppies and developed more brown as they got older.
