Technically I am a bad Meowmie because they have not had the OK fecal recheck (bacteria in poop) but after 4 days on two antibiotics, they started making tootsie rolls so I waited one more day and they are still on the medicine and I am letting them out of their bathroom for several hours at a time now. The recheck is next Monday.

Stories? Pictures are much more fun but there ARE stories. Eliot was the first to engage the babies in play. He all but stood on his head to get them to play with him!! Finally, he started creeping under a rug and they could not resist THAT and pounced on the moving rug - then he would leap out and pin them down squealing That is a game that continues and they love it!!

When Lizzie sees him coming, she just lays down on her back and lets him pin her

Princess Emily sits on a nearby chair and watches the nonsense. When one of them gets tired of the play, they run to ne for a break so I have been passing them off to Emily who calmly comforts them. Now they are starting to run to HER for their protection

At this point, the babies adore Emily and Eliot and are intrigued by Dylan but a bit afraid of him - maybe because of his earlier hissing?? - but they do sneak up on him It's VERY funny to watch because they sneak behind, crouch down, do a butt squitch and *pounce* on his tail But they are gone like lightening I think they just torment him but he is always nearby so I am sure it will be a friendship in time.

As far as discipline. Eliot has made it VERY clear that they are only allowed on the FIRST level of the cat tree and no further. They get smacked completely OFF the tree if they so much as sniff the next level *WHACK*

They also have had quite a few whacks from Dylan when they try the butt sniffing. I don't think that is fair because HE has sniffed THEIR butts!

Oh so much fun with kittens in the house. It's a good thing you're a stay at home kitty meowmie because I don't know how I'd get anything else done if I had kittens to entertain me! Who needs TV?

Oh, don't you just love that butt squitch?!?! Thats my favorite thing about kittens... its too cute for words!

LOL that they run to Princess Emily for protection, it sounds as if she is a good Princess protecting her kittens!
