    Wigweenie

Hi Wigweenie! What a pose! And I just know that really is a smile on that handsome face! And you do such a good job as official food inspector and taster for your family! I think you are just adorable! Hope lots of treats (bread???) find their way into your belly today! Congratulations to Wigweenie, Pet of the Day!!!

What a great story and a great Pet of the Day! It's always fun to have an unusual pet grace our opening page. The picture is terrific and I love it that you love to eat bread, Wigweenie. What a perfect shot of you in front of the bread box! Congratulations on being our chosen one today.

Hi. Please don't hate me for making this suggestion, I would never want to "scold" anyone on this website, but I am very concerned about your iguana. I have had the unfortunate experience of losing a 5 yr old iguana and had to learn the hard way....I really believe your iguana has metabolic bone disease. I can tell by his curved feet/toes, swollen legs, and the way he lays on the ground. Please research this, there is lots of info on the internet. It is reversible if caught it time, otherwise it definitely is a death sentence. I would hate for someone else to go through the pain I went through when something can be done, and its just a matter of being informed. A vet would also be good place to start, they can start giving him calcium injections to reverse the disease. Let me know what happens or if you have any questions.
    Good Luck,
    Lynn
