    Kim is a Grammy!!


    Jenna Ashlyn arrived at 12:24pm EST and weighs 6 lb 14 oz, 20 " long.
    AmyBeth was induced early this morning and progressed very well, but encountered problems with the position of the baby. Jenna's arms were extended above her head and it was decided to deliver her by caesarian. Grammy Kim just called at 3pm and sounded tired but very happy. AmyBeth and Jenna are doing well. AmyBeth is feeling very uncomfortable as the pain medication is wearing off but is otherwise fine. Kim has not held Jenna yet so my advice was march up to the nursing station, nicely but firmly tell them you are Grammy, offer to scrub and tell them you are ready to hold your grand-daughter!

    I just got home and I couldn't wait to find out if Jenna had mader her appearance yet. I'm so glad everything is okay.
