My friend and fellow pet lover's husband had a stroke. I just found out from her this morning. He's still in hospital. Although I've never met him do I send flowers to them?

From what I've seen, if he's in intensive care, he won't be allowed to have flowers in his room. A nice Get Well Soon card would be good. That way they could put it up where he can see it.
I would. You can never be to kind. I believe you can't have flowers in intensive care, so maybe send them to the home. If she has a family to feed, you might also think about sending a casserole or gift certificate for take out.

Thank you Wolfie!
I called the hospital and he can have flowers so I sent an arrangement with sunflowers, etc. Thanks for your help in deciding.
