So like I said in another thread, I found a baby kitten at the recycle/dump site a few nights ago. Tonight I went outside to check on my parents dogs, they were throwing a fit, And I see a beautiful white kitten beside my house(across from the dog pen) so I go to calling and meowing to it, and I could tell so bad that it wanted to come. It kept screaming and running right up to my feet, and when I reached down to get it it would run. I went inside and got a can of cat food, and brought it out, and as soon as it got a whiff it came right to me and started eating. I waited until it finished (the whole time I was petting it) and it was acting not so afraid so I just picked it up, and to the garage we went. It is such a sweetheart, I just know someone dumped it. It already purrs, and will lay in my lap. I want it so bad but I know I can't keep her. She is about 12 weeks old, long white fur and yellowish eyes(female). But because I can not afford the vet bills (I just took my other found kitty to the vet yesterday and spent a fortune) I just can't do it again so soon. After I clean her up (advantage, bath, ear flush, nail trim and deworming) I just know someone will take her, shes too precious. But honestly all I can do for her is feed her and keep her warm and dry with a nice garage to sleep in until she finds a new home. Do you guys think I should put her in the newspaper, or do you have any other suggestions?(I can not keep her long because I am staying with my parents while my husband is in school and we already (my parents and I together) have 8 cats (not including the 2 new ones) 2 dogs, 2 fish, a bird and a bunny rabbit) and when my father finds out about ANOTHER find in 3 days he is gonna be less than thrilled. Please tell me if you think its wrong to list her in the newspaper without her shots( I will let the new owners know she needs to be tested and her vacs.) because I just can't take her to a shelter.
