    Let Me Introduce Leila

Leila is in the seclusion shelter until she is tested, fixed, and given the OK to expose to the other cats. Here she is!

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Is she the latest tame cat dropped off? She looks so cute and what an adorable grin?

I had an aunt named Leila - good name!

Yes, this sweetie is the latest (where my frustration began).

The song Leila was playing on the radio when I rescued her, so I thought it was an appropriate name!

Thanks, I was going to ask the same. With all the new drop offs and rescues around here lately it's hard to keep everybody straight.

She is adorable and has the classic tabby "M" on her forehead. She looks really thin though, is she just young yet or is that from being dropped off and having to fend for herself?

Thanks again for all you do for these sweeties.

We're guessing around 8 mo. to a year. I think she's skinny due to fending for herself. Right now she literally gobbles her food. We have an appointment on Tuesday to have her spay and tested. This is why she's quarantined until then.
