    Major's Nose?

Is there something wrong with Major's nose? This morning the front looked like it was lighter, and I thought maybe I was just seeing things. Now, its still a lighter, not all black anymore. Should I be worried, or is this normal?

    I'm sure it's normal.

Dogs sometimes get what some call "snow nose" when it gets closer and closer to winter.

is his nose a brown colour? I've seen alot of yellow labs with black noses that turn brown as they get older. I don't really know what it is though.

I heard that sometimes certain bowls can rub the pigment out of their nose and cause them to turn pink or lose their blackness. Don't remember what kind, but we use stainless steel bowls and supposodly they don't do anything to their noses.

Chester's gonna hate me for posting this again, but it shows the winterization of his nose - a bit of a 'snow nose'.

It happens to him each fall and on into winter. He usually has a nice dark brown, to black nose.

The tip of Muffy's nose turned pink for a different reason... she rooted in the litter box after she had had a bath! It's finally back to normal now.
