I got my jack russell terrier about a year ago when she was two months old. we tried house breaking the way our vet told us.. putting her in the create that's not too small or too big when no one is looking after her. Giving her treats when she goes to bathroom outside but she wouldn't finish going to bathroom because she just wants the treat... but when she turned 1 she started to start a bad behavior... she would go to bathroom in her create and eat it before we even see it.. We Say no in a loud voice when she goes to bathroom inside but she just gets nervous when we yell at her and she goes to bathroom in someother place, like on a chair,desk, under the bed , in her create. We take her out in the morning then when we bring her back in she goes to bathroom . Usually when we take her for a walk all she does is sniff around. We are Really trying hard to housebreak her and if she's not housebroken by next 6 month or so we have no choice but just give up on her..
