    Almost arrested for her pets!

I just saw on TV here a cop stopping a lady in Florida in her car,,, she wanted to go back to her home for her pets,,,, he said no,, so she freaked on him and said either arrest her or get out of her way,,,,, amazingly enuff,, after he got over his shock and warning her it was on her own risk,,, he let her pass....

YAY!!! That lady is my hero!!!!!!

Their are two sides of the coin on this.

I for one would never want to leave my pets behind
    in any type of disaster.
I would probably get arrested for forcing my way
    through those lines too.)

But on the other side of the coin.
By going back into the danger zone you not
only put yourself at risk but the peace officers and
    other emergency workers lives too.

Many times emergency workers have to put them
selves in the line of danger to try to save the person
who has made a choice to stay behind or sneak
    through those police lines.

    Just a thought.

Well to be fair,, she was just going in to get them and then leave,,, the sun was shining and not a lick of wind,, so it wasnt a danger area,,, I think the cop figured she was going in and staying!!

Oh wow! I can see both sides though but since nothing was really going on he should've let her through pretty easily.

I agree, I would want someone to let me in too in that case.
