    Guard dog giggle....

Yesterday I had a plumber come over to install my new dishwasher! I've had the machine for months and hubs was supposed to install it, but just never got around to it. He hates to do plumbing but won't admit it. He's gone for a few days so I called a pro!

I wasn't home when he came by. I get this phone call at work.."i'm in your driveway and your dog won't let me out of my van." Huh, none of my dogs are like that-so I ask which dog, thinking that maybe he just parked too close to Preacher. Preacher is blind and if he doesn't recognize you he barks his fool head off. Plumber describes a little brown and black dog with curly fur--DAISY!!

ROFL, my neighbor's dog is guarding my house! I had to call her real owner and tell him that! He didnt' find it as funny as I did!

Daisy did let the plumber out of his van after I told him her name and he gave her a milkbone. He always carries dog treats with him.

That's her! That little dog sometimes runs 50km a day. She comes on almost every walk I go on, every sled run, every bike ride ect. She's in great shape! If she isn't already in my yard, she comes over as soon as she hears barking.

    This is Daisy.

That is so funny! Very cute that your neighbor's dog protects your property as well. I can't believe he carries Milk Bones everywhere. That's cute.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

    Casey Tail...

Casey (First Shepherd, RB ) knew the sound of the UPS Truck
a block away - and would wait for her Driver/Buddie "Dallas"
on the front porch of the Shop.
As he *squeaked* to a stop, she'd jump up INTO the truck
(door was always open), and do a *sit*, *beg*, and *shake* for the
Bisquit Dallas ALWAYS pulled from the box he carried on the dash.

ONE Day... we heard the UPS Truck pull up - Casey dashed out...

    A minute later I heard a Blood-Chilling Scream of
    " **EEK** ~ HELP ME! ...
    *SIT* - *STAY* - *DOOWN* - *HEEEEEELP!
    "

Thunk to myself: Hmmmm... THAT doesn't sound like "DALLAS"!
(Voice had a bit of a "female" tremor)...
    MAYBE I better *check*...

Casey was obiediantly "down" in the doorway between the cab
and the package area, *thumping* her tail, with her head
cocked to one side, *watching the show*...

The *cutest, blonde* UPS Driver I'd ever seen -
was Frantically trying to claw her way UP the package shelves
in the back of the truck!!

"Blondie" climbed down after I explained Casey had just come out
for her *treat* - that "Dalls ALWAYS carries on the truck."

    Next time "Blondie" relieved Dallas on our route;
SHE was carrying a BIG box of MilkBones on the dash -
and happily proclaimed that the MilkBones made her delivery job
    a LOT more *enjoyable*!
