Hi Everbirdie!, Momma said I could share some picshers she took of me today, and also a video of me! It was finally a nice sunnee day here today so's the lighting was good enough to get picshers without the flashy. Momma says the flashy washes out my perty colors!

Well, here I am! Pleese ignore that little feather stuck to my foot. I just went thru a molt and my feathers are everyware!


And here I am shaking off, gotta get all my feathers into place!

Here, Momma is telling me I'm perty. Do ya think so?


Then Mom took me over to look out the windoe.


And I sat in a pach of sun for a bit.


Looks like my ride is here!

It's so handy to have a Mom to carry you around so's you don't have ta fly!

Oh, I almost forgot, here I am doing my favorite thing, which Mom says makes it harder to get picshers of me. Riding Mom's shoulder!

Ok Dawn isn't a particularly playful bird, her favorite thing is to ride around on my shoulder and she will usually get fed up after a couple pictures and insist that she get to sit on my shoulder. The only thing she likes more than that are head scritchies! Then she forgets everything else. I think you will be able to tell by this video how much she loves it

Oh, and my husband is out mowing so that is the noise in the background

LOL!!! That is how I read it too!!! I was thinking "Her husband is meowing? How strange!!"

Dawn is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Her colors are absolutely stunning. And that video! SO precious!!! I want to grab her and cuddle her and give her lots of kisses. I love your baby birdie SO much!!!!

I love the video as soon as you raise a finger she's like oooo a scrach and knows to put her head down... She's wonderful. my cocketiel was abused before we got him so he's scared of hands... he's really old 2... He lets us kiss his head though and he rubs his head on us, but no hands is his rule..hahaha
