Thread: First Flyball comp for the season :D...

    First Flyball comp *Uppie Date*

Clover, Elvis and I are going to our first Flyball competition of the season this coming Sunday. It has been a VERY long few months not doing anything or going anywhere.

I am hoping for good results as the team Clover and i are in is very reliable and the dogs are awesome, we may not be very fast but we are reliable. Clover has been on a strict diet for the past few weeks and looks quite well, and we have been exercising more.

It will be interesting how Elvis reacts to a Flyball comp now as the last one we went to he was super calm and could not careless about the actual Flyball racing, now that he has started training he will probably react differently and want to play.

I will have plenty of photos next week sometime.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

hehe good luck! I have a tourny last weekend of the month, but Happy does not get to run she hurt her toe at the wronge time lol actually that team has a lot of bad timing for this tourny, Happy is out becoause of her toe, and its to late to drop her jumps back to 9's anyway and to early to bump em up to 14's lol and of coarse Dyna, Happys mom has decided to start showing signs of going into season, right before the tourny that leaves 2 slower dogs and 2 brand new dogs that have not even doen warm-ups at a tourny before, to run a full tourny, plus if I remeber right Rigs cant make it the second day that leaves, Ripley and 3 unreliable dogs.. oh joy. Misty might get to do warm-ups though, that is if we can get her anywhere near the lanes.. lol

    Thanks everyone

    Where is it?
It is at the Frankston Dog Obedience Club Inc, Centenary Park, McClelland Drive, Frankston Melways Reference 100 E12.

Feel free to come along, we will be there all day from about 8am till 5pm or so.

Shayna that sucks about Happys toe and Dyna coming into season, i wish your team luck in whatever happens on that weekens.

We entered 3 teams in a comp about 3 months ago in the week leading up to the comp we had 2 of our height dogs out injured and sick and Clover came down with an illness also and one of the dogs and his Dad did not show on the day, it was a complete nightmare. In the end we had to re-organise teams and only take two along on the day.

One of our dogs is due into season this week, but we are hoping she is late. *Fingers crossed*

    Uppie Date time

Thankyou for your well wishes everyone. Kate i will definatly take lots of Elvis pics.

Now for the update, our third team may have to be scrapped as two dogs and their handlers have pulled out at the last minute due to car problems. And another handler in that particular team in unwell at the moment and may not be able to come.

    Shar (Shar-Pei mix) car trouble.

    And

    Shars son, Jesse, car trouble.

    Joey whos owner is unwell.

So we have had to pull dogs out of retirement....

Lochlan, who has no team training in months .

Cricket who had pups about 7 months ago, but she is in great condition and has been training.

So we will see how it goes and hopefully the third team will get to race.
