    Babysitting pics....

For the last two weeks I have been babysitting some dobermans. (not related to the puppy pics I posted). During this time I also took care of two aussies, and of course the shelties came along to help

Introducing the Dobes, Mason (left) and Ginger (right), the Aussies, Max (tri-color) and Ripley (blue), and of course you all know the Shmelties.

Everyday I would take all 6 dogs out for a walk. The herding dogs could be off leash. Em and Clipse are somewhere behind me in this pic.

Here Clipse is stretching to drink out of the dobermans' bowl.

    More coming....

    *Thanks Ashley*

Sometimes if I didn't want the hassle of walking the dobes on leash and watching the herding dogs off leash, I would walk them seperately. Here the herding dogs are waiting to be released at the beginning of the walk.

    Max chasing Ripley.

    Ripley having a good roll....

    Likewise for Max...

    More coming.....

A little later in the walk the sun decided to come out so I made them pose again.

And then the good dogs were released to go play again.

    That's all!

The dobies are gorgeous!!! The aussies are adorable, I like their colors! And, of course, the shelties are as sweet as always

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.
RIP Tigger...I miss you every single day.

HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU GET SIX DOGS TO POSE SO BEAUTIFULLY?????? I have trouble with two! As always your two are just GORGEOUS dogs and the others are as well. Everyone looks like they have having a tremendous time. Bella and Ripley would love to join them in that roll!

I agree with Pam, I have trouble posing the three I have
Those are really awesome pictures and all the dogs are sooooo gorgeous!
When you pet sit, do they stay at your house or do you go to theirs? Seems like a nice job...wish I had one like that

    Thanks everyone!

Pam, first I put Max and Rip in sit stays, then I put Em and Clipse infront of them in down stays. Then I took Mason and told him to lie down and stay, then Ginger. Then it was "staaaaay" ...."uh-uh"...."staaaaaay"....."uh-uh"...."staaaaay"......."aaaaah!"......."staaaaaaa y"........
Moving back slowly with every stay and forward with every "uh-uh" or "aaaah!"
The herding dogs were fine they've all been obedienced trained. The dobes were a challenge. Ginger kept pushing her butt up (as you can see in the pic binka_nigget reposted) and everytime I went back to put her back in position Mason thought he was going to get in trouble (he's a very soft dog) and he'd creep slowly sideways. That's why he's so far away from the first pic to the last pic.

Anna, when I pet sit I stay at the dog's house. I live at home so can't take dogs in here. So yes I get paid to stay at other people's houses and eat other people's food. LOL When I was double booked with the aussies I put the dobes to bed at their house (they sleep in their crates) and then slept at the aussie's house. When I got up the first thing I did was go get the dobes and bring them over to the aussies.

cloverfdx, I've seen a few aussies here with prick ears. Max was shown as a pup, but they couldn't get his ears to stay tipped, so they gave up and just let him be a pet and do some obedience. It's hard to see in the pics, but the tops of his ears do kind of fold, but they aren't fully tipped by any means.

    *Thanks Ashley*
