Would someone please explain the "Ignore List" to me

How does it work? I've never used it but I've seen some people mention it before.

There is no one I want to ignore I just want to know how it works.

    Thanks

You add people's names to it then they come up as " This user is on your ignore list"

Then, in their posts, there's an option to view that specific post. Very handy when you want to see pictures of that person's pets.

So if you 'ignore' someone it will block their posts all together and give you the option to read it if you want?

Very easy and quite useful tool. Just add names to your Ignore list and you don't see their posts or receive PMs from them.

    Ta da!

I have a rather long Ignore list, lol.

Here's an example of what you would see if you had someone on your ignore list.

I have none of you in my ignore list.. because I think you all are different people with different thoughts, so it's just fun to see everone's thoughts...

I've never used it and don't intend to. Thought it was only for PM's.

Oh okay, thanks for the visual Kay.

So does the person you are ignoring have a clue?

I don't think they have any way of knowing they're on your Ignore list.

Well, not sure it matters. It was "Moose" aka "Brooke"

I don't think there's a possible way to find out if you're on someone's ignore list.

Thank you. I'm not planning on using it but when someone asked about the calendar the other day it got me looking at the all the options we have here. I just discovered the Buddy list and thought that was really nice!

The buddy list is an awesome feature.. especially when you want to tell more than one person something.
