    Sterling's story

This is Sterling's story, in a sentence:
It was October 1, 2000 and I went to the local humane society and I saw 6 month old Sterling and I pointed and I said "I want that one" and I took him home> End of story<
Just look at him. How could I NOT take him home?

    Wow! A short story!

He is cute, so is he one of your mouse-lovers?

Love at first sight for me - Hey, is that a picture of "elebator butt"? Or does it only count if they get it from being petted?

Dudley's story is similar - my mother-in-law wanted a kitty to keep her company, so she, my husband, and our daughter went to the Humane Society (I couldn't go because I was working, which I seem to do 100 hours a week ). They looked over all the kitties, but Mom wasn't too taken with any of them, and then my daughter noticed a picture of Dudley on the bulletin board where they posted the "infirmary" kitties who were getting well. They asked to see Dudley, and even though he had ear mites and a bad cold, he was delighted to see them, and immediately jumped on my mother-in-law's lap and gave her head bumpies. She fell in love, and she said she'd come back for him when he was all better, but the staff said hey, take him home now! They stopped by where I was working and said come out to the parking lot and see what we got! And there, in a cat carrier, was the most beautiful kitty face - I remember telling Mom I was jealous, because I had always wanted a brown tabby kitty, and he was so beautiful.
The legend says that Mohammed adored cats. When one of them was sleeping on his sleeve and he had to go out, Mohammed supposedly cut off the sleeve so as not to disturb his pet.

Doesn't that picture speak a thousand million words? Sterling's markings are so special and beautiful!
