    How I spent my Sunday....

How I spend almost every weekend....
Group #1 today was comprised of Chum, Hobo, Earle and Daisy (the neighbor's dog)

And we're off..Hobo and Earle heading for the lake.

    With Chum in hot pursuit.

    Chum playing in the trees.

Earle takes a little dip. He's turned into a swimming fool this summer. Before he would never let his feet leave the lake bottom. Now he paddles all over!

Even Hobo went in today, but not for long and not very far.

Daisy is a total water dog.

    More coming

Group #2 today was Founder, Raven, Pingo and of course Daisy. I can't get out of my yard without Daisy...

Founder having a good time running.

    My happy, happy Raven girl.

    Pingo just running along.

This group went to the creek instead of the lake.

    still more coming...

Group #3 today was Chase, Goldie, Pacer and Daisy!
Pacer has to stay on his leash. He really wanted to go loose, but I'm not sure he'd come back yet.
Goldie won't leave the yard on a leash so I have to drive a short distance with her. Pacer is learning that the truck can mean something besides a trip to the vet!

    Heading for the trail.

Pacer playing on the lake shore

Pacer doing what he does most, pacing.

Goldie doing her best to keep up, it's hard to have short little legs when your best friend has long ones!

    Chase getting cooled off.

    more still

Group #4 today was Kayleigh and Heyoka and Daisy of course. She's lucky Kayleigh likes her as she usual doesn't tolerate other females. I have to drive with Kayleigh too as she isn't the kind of dog you can just walk anywhere! It's not so bad though as this is the trail I get to walk on..

And it leads to this view:

    Kayleigh off to chase squirrels

with Heyoka right behind her. He'd hate to miss something fun.

Hey, Kayleigh, I think I found one!!

Daisy wants to know what's going on!!

And that is how I spent my Sunday afternoon. Fun, eh?

I love seeing pics of your crew! The first real sled dogs I've ever 'met'. Such a gorgeous bunch!
