    Beyond Pet Talk

Can anyone tell me how to get out of Beyond Pet Talk - I got all these conversations coming into my E-mail - don't really need this.

Purrley, there are some instructions in the Dog General section under Beyond Pet Talk, which will enable you to change the settings to get out of the email responses, and just check the messages on the board when you want to. It is very similar to the MSN settings. If you have more trouble, let us know, and we'll try to help.

Well, gee, maybe us Cat Only people aren't supposed to know about this since the topic is on the dog side.

    What if we're natural blondes?

Well, heck, they let ME in, and I am not blonde at all. Started out life that way, but have been very brunette since I was 4 1/2 - and I'm an animal person, not just a dog person, too! I think folks tend to put general stuff in Dog General so as not to have to scroll down ...

Logan - I still can't get rid of the conversations on my e-mail - this a.m. I had 100 of them and had to delete them one at a time I hate this - any more suggestions - I'm desperate - when I come back from vacation it will take me a week to delete all that stuff

I think there should be unsubscribe link at the end of one of those messages you get...or you can probably do it from the Beyond Pet Talk page too...

Here's how to leave the group:
    1. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/beyondpettalk/ and sign in if you're not already signed in.

    2. Click Edit My Membership in the top right hand corner underneath the Start a Group, My Groups, and Sign Out links.

    3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Leave Group button.

    Purrley,
Here's what I posted in the Dog General section. All you have to do is click on the option to read the messages on the board, rather than through the email. I think it must default to email when you first join up.

When you are signed in on the group page, click on "Edit my membership". Then you can scroll down and choose the way you want to receive messages. I too, hate getting the message responses in my email.
    Hope this helps!
