    The Draagh Vaat (Sp?)????

I have been wondering for a while now if anyone has heard of a breed of dog called the Draagh Vaat, their is a man fom our dog club who says that is what his dog is but i have searched high and low and have not found anything. Lisa (The dog) is like a German Wire haired poiner.

    So does anyone know?

Lisa is down in the bottom right hand corner.

I Googled the name and came up with diddly! I thought maybe it was one of those "newer" breeds, but couldn't find even one article.

Other names for a german wirehaired pointer are:
(Deutscher Drahthaariger Vorstehhund) and (Drahthaar). Maybe that is how you spell however he said it was called? LOL Did that even begin to make sense?

    *Thanks Ashley*

That makes sense... I'll bet that's just what this guy's dog is, he just wants to sound "smart" by using one of the fancy, shmancy names for it! hehe

Or maybe he is German and is calling the breed by the only name he's ever known it as?

Maybe the guy he got the dog from was German, and that's what he called the dogs.
