Amigo, what a friend you must be! Congratulations on being Dog of the Day! You are a wonderful member of a strong, solid, and courageous breed. I had no idea that Newfies came in colors other than black! So, I looked at www.dogbreedinfo.com and read this:

The coat most often comes in black, (sometimes with a little white on the feet, end of the tail, or chest) black with blue highlights, bronze and Landseer (White with black markings). Sometimes also in brown or gray.

Gasp! I just LOVE Newfies! I had the golden opportunity to hug and kiss them at a dog show and was instantly smitten. So beautiful, huge, furry, gentle, and sweet! What gorgeous coloring you have, Amigo! You are just so splendidly handsome! I hope our Pet Talk friend, Annie, who is owned by 2 Newfies, sees this today! I would love to pet you for hours! Congrats on being DOTD, a well deserved honor!!
