At Sarah's last checkup, the doc mentioned that Poms are prone to knee problems but her knees were good. But I noticed that her knees often pop, like when I pick her up or she stretches. Do your dogs joints pop?

Thank you Wolfie!
Hmmm Major has never done that, that I know of. I'm not sure wether you should be concerned or not. I don't really know too much about it. Sorry!
-thank you Poppy for the avatar.
R.I.P. Hanson. You will never be forgotten, and we await the day to see you once again. The imprint you left on my heart will never fade - your big beautiful brown eyes, your big soggy kisses...
Mine don't but we see lots of small dogs with that problem, it's called luxating patella (like you said, loose knees so to speak)
Speaking of that we had a JRT puppy come in today with awful luxating patellas on both knees, poor thing. He was so painful in his joints, most dogs seem to tolerate them pretty good.

Bitsy's knees pop sometimes too. I had a yorkie when I was growing up who had that too.
