Milk Bone Dreams: A Short Pictorial

Once upon a time, there was a dog named Duke who dreamed of having all the Milk Bones he could ever hope to eat. It was a dream he had often and he would wake up to find drool on the blanket.

One day, his mama showed him this big red box. I know what's in that box. Duke thought. He got closer for a sniff. Mmmmmmmm How can I open this?

    Please, please open it now!

    More coming......

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.

Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Oh Val, that was just toooo cute!!! Love that Duke boy. My girls also love their milkbones. I think they would be lost if they didn't get a few each day.

Thanks for the smile, Duke and Val.

    That's so sweet!

I love the first one. Simba says he'd love to come over and share with you.

That was so cute! I bet alot of dogs have dreams like that, Tango probably has dreams of playing frisbee all the time.
