I voted $500+ for Rutherford's surgery recently. But my average visit is certainly much less.

$1500 and change when Duncan had to go to the emergency clinic....It's about $200 when we go for his annual visit to stock up on Frontline and heartworm meds for the year. Luckily, he has stayed out of trouble recently....*fingers crossed*

Over $500 on our RB Opus. When we found him, he had heartworms.

$200 or under, for Happys spay. Perkys spay was cheap as shelter dogs get a dicount, Ripley neuter was only like $80 also shelter dog discount, Misty has only been twice(with us I mean, obviously her breeder had the pups vetted lol) once for her check up and once for her parvo shot, and she is not spayed. and Happy has been several times actually because of her vaccinosis as a pup, and recently because of her toe injury from that stupid badly made flyball box(the space between the pedal and the face was too big, her toe got trapped behind the pedal as she was pressing it) when we had Shadow, and we still did yearly vaccinations, it was cheap as well, because we got it done through a friend of my dads. Blair has only been twice with us as well, once for check up and back at 16 weeks for parvo. he bits so we want to get him a rabis shot, as well as neutered but we dont have the money for that right now so we just have to work with his behaivor training wise, which is difficult because he is REALLY dumb lol

When we get vaccinations for the dogs and cats we go at the same time to get a discount and it is usually less than $200 for the 5 dogs and 2 cats, the most we have spent for one dog is $180 and that is because Micki needed an x-ray of his leg, it was an agility related accident and that stupid x-ray didn't even tell us anything!

The most expensive was I think around $500 or so when Jesse got pancreatitis.

We pay around $200 something each yearly checkup.

They only time we've had to rush them to the emergency vet was years and years ago when Simba got some sort of allergic reaction, and that only ended up being around $160 for 2 pills and a "He'll be fine."

We spent over $800 on Ripley when he got sick with a blood infection that almost killed him. Poor little guy was at the vet hospital for over a week.

    From Decker with Love

  15. The most exensive trip was when Kirby suddently came down with the dog version of AIDS. that was over $500 becasue they needed a stool and pee sample to scan for stuff to see what was wrong. and then to prescribe the dug to fix it.

regular checkup visits cost around 200
